What Is Coolsculpting?

CoolSculpting is a body contouring treatment aiming to reduce stubborn fat in specific body areas. This fat-freezing method is referred to as cryolipolysis. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive technique that was approved by FDA in 2010.

The technique involves freezing fat in your body at a higher temperature than the skin. The CoolSculpting machine cools the fat to a temperature level that breaks them down. This process leaves your body tissues and skin unharmed.

How Does Coolsculpting Work?

Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive method that doesn't require surgery or the use of needles. The CoolSculpting device focuses on a particular body part between two paddles. The paddle cools the fat cells in your body to a temperature level that destroys them. The body will then eliminate the dead fat cells through natural processes.

A CoolSulpting procedure typically lasts about half an hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. One session of Coolsculpting can break down about 25% of fat cells in the targeted areas.

The entire cryolipolysis procedure is suitable for individuals struggling with fat bulges on the buttock, thighs, belly, under the jaw, along the bra line or upper arms.

Are You A Good Candidate For Coolsculpting?

CoolSculpting is suitable for people seeking to eliminate stubborn fat that they cannot remove through exercise and diet. If you have a healthy weight, this procedure suits you. If you are slightly overweight, you can still undergo CoolSculpting to remove excess fat.

Pros of Coolsculpting

  • No Downtime: You can undergo this procedure and proceed with your daily activity immediately. The procedure eliminates the worry about surgery, halting workout routines, changing bandages, taking it easy or missing work.

  • Ease and convenience: The procedure is non-invasive and can be done quickly on an outpatient basis. You can undergo this procedure during your lunch breaks.

  • No pain: The overall treatment is not painful. You may experience a sucking sensation and feel cold in the target area.

  • Impressive results: You'll get the desired results within a few weeks of undergoing the procedure, and they will last for a long time when you continue with the proper exercise and diet.

  • Permanent fat removal: CoolSculpting kills the subcutaneous fat cells, thereby removing the treated fat permanently from the body.

Cons of Coolsculpting

  • No instant results: The results of this procedure don't occur overnight. It can take several weeks before you start noticing the results. Since the body naturally eliminates dead fat cells, noticeable results happen gradually 2-3 months after your treatment.

  • Side effects: You can experience side effects such as swelling, bruising, numbness and redness.

  • Adverse Effects: In rare cases, Coolsculpting can lead to Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia - an overgrowth (hyperplasia) of fatty (adipose) tissue. Although this is not dangerous, it can create an unusual lump in your body that will look disfigured.

What Is EMSculpt Neo?

EMSCULPT NEO is a body contouring treatment that simultaneously burns fat cells and builds muscle mass in the targeted area. It is the only non-invasive treatment procedure that combines the energies for muscle building and fat elimination in a single treatment.

EMSCULPT NEO is the best alternative to CoolSculpting since it emits high-intensity electromagnetic (HIFEM) and radio frequency (RF) energies for muscle growth and fat reduction in a single procedure. Neo will help you achieve your best body shape in less time.

EMSCULPT NEO is suitable for the abdomen, thighs, arms, buttocks and calves. The procedure will ensure you get more muscle and less fat. The treatment will increase your muscle mass by an average of 25%.

Why You Should Want EMSculpt Neo

There are numerous reasons why you should leverage EMSCULPT NEO treatment instead of Coolsculpting. They include:

  • The treatment package will tone the muscles of the targeted area.
  • It will slim your body by removing stubborn fat cells.
  • It will tighten your skin.
  • It can decrease visceral fat which is linked to heart attacks.

How Does EMSculpt Neo Work?

EMSCULPT NEO is a game changer for the body contouring industry. It is the first body contouring treatment that shapes the body through circumferential reduction and fat removal.

It is a non-invasive treatment procedure that does not involve needles, anesthesia, surgery or downtime. The treatment uses an applicator that emits HIFEM and RF energies simultaneously. The HIFEM energy initiates muscular contractions known as the supramaximal contractions on the targeted area. The supramaximal contractions are more intense and faster than the ones you experience during a normal excise. The muscle mass in the targeted part can increase by an average of 25%.

The radio frequency heating technology quickly raises the muscle temperature by several degrees to prepare the muscle to stress exposure. Within 4 minutes, the subcutaneous fat is heated to a temperature that permanently damages (Apoptosis) fat cells. The damaged fat cells are slowly eliminated from the body. On average, the procedure minimizes subcutaneous fat by 30%. RF heating tightens, thereby enhancing your muscle definition.

A complete Neo treatment takes four 30 minute sessions spaced about 2 weeks apart. The procedure is easy and convenient since there are pre-preparations. During the treatment, you lay down for 30 minutes while the applicator is applied to the target area.

During the procedure, you may experience intense but bearable heating sensations and muscle contractions. There is no downtime post-treatment.

Dead fat cells are eliminated from the body through natural processes. Expect optimum results after several weeks or three months after your last session.

Pros of EMSculpt Neo

  • No downtime. You don’t have to worry about your daily schedules or the disruption of your work routine. The procedure is non-surgical and non-invasive, meaning there is no extended waiting time to get back to life. Once the treatment is completed, you can immediately return to work.

  • The treatment requires a short session treatment of 30 minutes. You can undergo EMSCULPT NEO sessions any time during the day. If you are busy at work, you schedule to take your session during your lunch break.

  • EMSCULPT NEO performs double work of building muscle and burning excess fat. The treatment will enable you to achieve the desired body shape in less time and money.

  • EMSCULPT NEO is the best alternative to CoolSculpting and other procedures. It yields visible muscle-toning and fat reduction results in just four sessions.

Cons of EMSculpt Neo

  • Intense Treatment: Some clients have noticed that their muscles feel sore after an EMSculpt session. Since it's mimicking an intense HIIT workout, this could be a downside for some clients.

  • Possible Redness: In some instances, clients have noticed redness and itchiness on the treatment area where the pads were attached to them. If a client has sensitive skin, this could be a side effect of the Neo process.
